DESASTER German black/thrash conjurors Desaster have been churning out their unique and unholy blend of extreme metal since 1989, and in 2025 they return with their tenth studio album, Kill All Idols, set for release on August 22^nd on Metal Blade Records! VIOGRESSION Following 2022’s 3rd Stage of Decay Milwaukee, Wisconsin death-metal veterans Viogression have released latest album Thaumaturgic Veil, a blast of oldschool death metal. You can listen to the album in full here or purchase a copy here.

Future must have…

UBOA & WHITEHORSE I’ve got a fever… and the only prescription is horrible, noisy, churning doom. Now that that’s established, Uboa & Whitehorse have teamed up for a split album The Dissolution of Eternity. The album will be released on Tartarus Records/ Sweatlung and it promises to provide you with a really good bad time. For now, unfortunately, there are no streaming tracks on bandcamp, but you can pre-order the album there on vinyl, cassette or CD.

HEBEPHRENIQUE Australia is certainly not just beaches and surfing, it’s too hot, too far away (if you live anywhere else) and everything kills you. And it’s with such dark thoughts in mind that we present Brisbane, Queensland’s blackened-death-metal unit Hebephrenique and their debut full-length album Decathexis, released on the 23rd of August on Gutter Prince Cabal/ Brilliant Emperor Records (following their debut EP Non Compos Mentis).
