SCARCITY Experimental black metal group Scarcity just announced an upcoming new album The promise of Rain! We can already get a taste of what is to come by checking out the opening track In the Basin of Alkaline Grief, available right over here! The album is scheduled for a release on the 12th of July, and you can place your pre order right here!

AVENGED SEVENFOLD As some may know, Avenged Sevenfold is headlining Download Festival this summer, and now the album Life is But a Dream… is available right here! Another very interesting thing debuting from the group is the epic animated new music video for Cosmic! Head over here right now to check it out!

WHITE WARD After having taken a while to perfect the footage, White Ward is now finally able to present an awesome live-in-studio video of their performance recorded by Rakus Records during the group´s Ukrainian tour last year! We can now watch them perform two tracks, Leviathan from their latest album False Light, and a renovated version of their old track When Gift Becomes Damnation which was originally released in 2012. SCHATTENFALL One man Ukrainian/ German black metal entity Schattenfall has just released latest album Death’s Eternal March. There are a limited number of CD copies of the album to be had, t-shirts and patches. You can check out the album here as well as all past releases. PHAUNOS Ooft! To paraphrase AC/DC If you want raw black metal, you got it! The Ancient Tales (newly released by Norway’s Phaunos is just that. Terrify your friends and neighbours, you can also listen together here.

HIGH ON FIRE Oakland, California’s Stoner-metal troubadours High On Fire (featuring guitarist Matt Pike, also of Sleep) have announced their latest record Cometh the Storm. The album is due for release on the 19th of April on MNRK Heavy. There’s a range of limited edition vinyl pressings you can pre-order here. There’s also a preview track there for your listening pleasure.
