Hello there,

Time is running so damn fast and things worldwide are getting crazy. Everything is getting a big mess and I’m asking myself when the world is finally over. Being drastic? Maybe, maybe not. Anyway… Lets talk about music and is for that, that I’m here…

Enjoy my travel into music and I hope you enjoy my recos.

It’s time to return to 1990, the year of the latest release from this band. Several reissues were made from previous releases from this band, even if not so many, but the band managed to create a kvlt status. When I saw the first news about a future album after so many damn years I have to admit, that I was very happy. I remember being a teenager and listening to the albums released by them. So, the band returned, only with one member from the original lineup, and… Well, they released a very damn good Thrash Metal, remembering me the good old Thrash Metal days. Thank you a lot for making me a teenager again and doing headbanging while listening to your lovely music.

Band: Dead Head
Title: Shadow Soul
Label: Hammerheart Records
Release date: 29 March 2024
Country: Netherlands

Another happy moment for me this week while listening to this EP from this band, that looks like an album. To be honest I already heard albums with fewer minutes than this EP. Ahahahahahahah. This band since the first time I heard it was and still is in my opinion a kvlt band and very damn good. Unfortunately, not so many people like it. I don’t know why, (I’m talking about the circle of known persons and to the ones I talked to/asked online). So this EP managed to put me back in the 90s and I felt alive, strong, young, etc. A good journey through the very damn good Thrash Death Metal played by this band. Check them if you don’t know them.

Band: Kelevra
Title: Oneiric
Label: Independent
Release date: 08 March 2024
Country: Canada
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

One of the good things while I’m listening to some promos is to find young and new bands, even if is not my main music style, or even not my cup of tea (In my country we say “Not my beach”). But since my curiosity is big about new music styles, mixing styles, and different things, even if I have my 3 or 4 music styles, I would not trade for anything. I decided to listen to this band. The Death Metal played by them is not the subgenre inside the Death Metal that I listen to. Too much “jump jump” music and “screamo” voice style for my personal taste, but even so, I can admit when a band is good at what they do. This is one of those cases and in my opinion, the band is good, they deserve the attention and the chance for you to listen to them.

See you next week and…

Don’t forget to support the bands and labels.
