#BAZUndergroundUpdates CXCVIII

It’s an odd sensation to have The Underground Updates moved on different dates, isn’t it? We hope you did not think that our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Osman abandoned you yesterday!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

PONTE DEL DIAVOLO The Italian doom & dark wave maestros of Ponte Del Diavolo are now all set to embark upon their journey across Italy on their Fire Blades from the Tomb release tour! Of course, with that in mind you must keep an eye on the tour dates and locations in Italy which starts at the end of the month, and while you wait you can head straight over here to pre-order the upcoming album scheduled for February 16th!Satanath Records On Saturday, February 10th, Satanath Records is organising a new gathering of rock and metal lovers in Tbilishi, Georgia! Meeting at 18:00 at the Sin3 club, the evening will be filled with concerts with extreme metal bands such as Negative Offence and Crymophtylac! Make sure to keep this in mind next weekend if you find yourself in Georgia!

BLACK LION RECORDS The February offer is going strong over at Black Lion Records, and you can still head over here to claim the fabulous 50% discount on all items, including their Big Cartel store, with the promo code blacklion50!

CYCLIC LAW It’s time for their annual winter sale! Cyclic Law is now offering us 20% off all releases and merch with the mode winter24! Available until February 9th, you should head over here right now and check out the selection!NEUROT RECORDINGS As always, Neurot Recordings isn’t letting us down with their (hopefully) never-ending Pay What You Can segment, and this week’s album pick is Atomik Disorder by KK Null! Head over here right now to claim your copy and simply pay what you can!

STAGES OF DECOMPOSITION Well, you probably already have an idea of how gruesome this is going to be just by the title. Starting with a dramatisation of a police report at the crime-scene discovery of Jeffry Dahmer’s apartment it doesn’t take long for the inevitable slam death metal to drop. Obscenely chugging nastiness awaits on Raptures of Psychopathy by Stages of Decomposition, available now on Gore House Productions. Check it out here.

HADIT You can always rely on Italy’s I, Voidhanger Records to come up with some creative, earcatching, extreme sounds. The latest album to be announced by the label is Metaphysical Engines Approaching The Event Horizon by Hadit, a kind of cosmic death/ black metal judging by the preview track that’s upline at the moment. The album is also produced by the one and only GG of Cosmic Putrefaction and Vertebra Atlantis (which should give you an idea of the kind of creative forces at work). Listen to the preview track here. You can pre-order a copy on CD and vinyl, with the album being released on the 15th of March.

MORTICIAN It’s been a minute (as the US folk say) since NY’s ridiculously bass heavy, horror obsessed Mortician put out a new record, but while we wait, the band has a ton of new merch. Looking for a snug hoodie that’ll also horrify your neighbours? Head over here to see the full range in the band’s store.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder.

While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
