At the risk of sounding like our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Osman are always in a hurry, if you don´t mind, they would like to simply cut to the chase.

So, let’s see what’s out there…

PROFANATICA The notorious black metal apostates Profanatica will be unleashing their bestial, first-wave black metal barbarity throughout the Eastern US and Canada starting February 13th! Alongside them will be the old school death metal stalwarts of Nunslaughter, and the fiery metro-NYX extremists Tombs! Head over here right now to check out further information as well as tickets to any show near you!

DUNKELHEIT PRODUKTIONEN A massive sale is going on at Dunkeheit Produktionen until midnight of February 1st, so make sure you have quick hands today and head over to their Bandcamp site right over here to take advantage of the fabulous offer! The promocode is sale30 and make sure you don’t forget it!

D ARK ESSENCE RECORDS In order to get ready for new projects, Dark Essence Records has started to clear out some space from their warehouse and we can now get CDs and vinyl at 30-80% discount by February 7th! Head over here now to check out the selection! Oh and p.s. They also offer a 30% discount on Dark Essence Records Bandcamp for those wishing to purchase digital titles only, so if you head over to their Bandcamp page for that offer make sure you use the code darkessence2024!

NEUROT RECORDINGS The weekly everlasting Pay What You Can segment continues on over at Neurot Recordings, and this week’s album pick is As the Crow Flies by the one and only Steven Von Till! Head over here now to claim your copy and simply pay what you can!

SMRT Coming to us via Dead Seed Productions, Barcelona at 9 is the newly released second album by progressive black metal group SMRT. SMRT? Yes, SMRT, sometimes translated as “death” (wheee fun!). Needless to say, dark times lay within. With themes of depression, drug dealers and prostitutes at the core of the record it should come as no surprise that the music is ominous and disturbing. Check it out here where you can listen in full and buy a digital or CD copy.

SÄTYÄSENÄ Led by drummer-turned-vocalist-guitarist Pej Mon (of Ghoul and Secret Chiefs 3), Sätyäsenä have released their debut self-titled album and a unique, psychedelic, heavy, pounding beast it is too. Maybe metal, maybe hard rock, definitely creative and bursting out of the ears with creativity. Check out the album in full here and pick up a limited CD copy.

INNERLOAD Venice, Italy’s Innerload has been grinding away since 2009. Now the thrash metal four-piece has put out their third album, Mater Tenebrarum, on French label Great Dane Records. For some chunky, chugging metal goodness click here. You can buy a CD copy, digital download or listen in full.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder.

While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
