Methane Exclusive Video Premiere

If there’s one thing we love to do here at Blessed Altar Zine is premiering albums or singles and boy, do we have a treat for you today. We have the pleasure to present you the new single from METHANE, “Thin the Herd”, one day ahead of its digital release, coupled with a music video! “Groove” might be the best word to describe this great song. Even if it’s mid-paced, it compensates by being punchy and aggressive, its steady rhythm filling your veins and compelling you to start a mosh pit in your living room, workplace or wherever you might find yourself. Lyricswise, here’s what the band had to say about the song: ”The lyrical theme of Thin The Herd is a reflection of our society’s anti-social /social behaviour, and dedicated to all the attention whores, cry babies and catfish dwelling on the internet, echoing a world of Facebook zombies infecting one another by creating mass hysteria.” Also, I have to mention the sick cover art done by Indonesian metal artist Eka Saptura for Pzychoart, which captures the theme of the song so damn well.
