Sülfür Ensemble released their new EP “IV” on May 15th, 2026

The band takes their signature sludge and doom foundations to the next level, this time combining them with a much more groove structure and classic heavy metal tones.

Recorded live at Studio No5, İstanbul, the EP perfectly reflects the raw and organic energy of the band’s stage performances. The EP, entirely composed of Turkish lyrics, includes the following songs:

İlk
Taş Kahkaha
Nisyan
Kıyamet Balosu
Son

The EP explores themes such as human memory and what we would do if the world ended, and also features a song written for a famous artist. Having previously written songs for Marilyn Monroe and The Who bassist John Entwistle, the band has now dedicated a song to Erol Taş, an unforgettable figure in Turkish cinema.

The album’s mixing and mastering were handled by Sertaç Kakı, who has also worked on the band’s previous recordings.

The album cover design is by Bagus Rio Prasojo.

IV, Sülfür Ensemble’s most mature and aggressive sound, is available on all digital platforms.
