Sons of Hades, the Greek metallers forged in the heart of the underground, are proud to announce the release of their debut full-length album Tombs of the Blind Dead on November 7, 2025. This ominous offering merges the blackened fury of Mayhem and Emperor with the razor-sharp riffs of Mercyful Fate and the raw energy of early Bathory and Venom.
Formed in 2023 by guitarist and vocalist Apostolis K. (Demolition Train, Winter Eternal, Chainsaw, Nightbreed), Sons of Hades quickly assembled a lineup of metal veterans: Vasilis K. (guitars, Demolition Train), Alex G. (bass, Nightbreed), and Vangelis F. (drums, Sacral Rage, Necrovorous, Chainsaw). Together, they channeled the darkness of the underground, crafting an album that balances aggression, melody, heaviness, and a morbid, black metal atmosphere. Recorded, mixed, and mastered at Ignite Studios by Giorgos Christoforidis, and featuring haunting cover art by underground legend Dimitar Nikolov, Tombs of the Blind Dead is a testament to Sons of Hades’ devotion to old-school black and heavy metal. Razor riffs, bleak melodies, and a palpable sense of menace define a release that refuses to be confined by genre boundaries.
