BAZUndergroundUpdates CCXXXIV

Can you guys even believe it’s Wednesday again?? Our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Osman have barely anything else to do but to bring forth new instalments of The Underground Updates, time flies by so fast!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

CROWBAR Kicking off a US Headlining tour, Crowbar is closing out the year with a final run! Beginning on November 5th with a special performance in Houston with Soulfly, and finishing off on November 29th in New Orleans, the group will be supported by Morbid Visionz, and tickets are on sale right now over here! Make sure you have quick hands to find a show near you and keep those horns high!

ENSIFERUM Now this here is a real treat! Ensiferum has announced a 2025 North American co-headlining tour alongside Korpiklaani, and tickets are on sale already! Make sure to have quick hands as these two bands are a must-see combination!

NEUROT RECORDINGS And just as the weekly newsletter arrives, so is the weekly Pay What You Can segment over at Neurot Recordings included! This week’s album pick is Mass V by Amenra! Head over here right now to claim your copy and simply pay what you can!

LAUDARE Dark progressive-metal act Laudare have just released Requiem on Breathe Plastic Records and it’s both elegant and harrowing. You can listen to the album in full here where you can also buy a copy on vinyl, CD or cassette. Mixing elements of black metal, doom, post-rock and more, this is a hard album to classify, but well worth checking out.

BURIAL OATH Cleveland, Ohio’s Burial Oath make some ferocious black metal. Their latest album, The Cycles of Suffering, will be released on Redefining Darkness Records on the 15th of November. In the meantime, you can listen to two tracks from the album here and you can preorder the album on CD.

BEDSORE Italian death-metal act Bedsore are going full in with their prog-rock tendencies on latest album Dreaming the Strife for Love. So get ready for a mind-warping musical journey. The album will be released on 20 Buck Spin on the 29th of November, but in the meantime there’s a preview track to sink your teeth into here — with the album also being available to pre-order on cassette, CD and limited, colour vinyl.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
