Hello there,

And… This is the last Saturday of April. Damn. Almost 4 months gone since the beginning of the year. Is running fast or is just me thinking this way? Anyway… let’s talk about music…

Enjoy my travel into music and I hope you enjoy my recos.

Arghhhhhhhhhhh. Tu pa, tu pa, tu pa, tu pa, tu pa, tu pa… It’s me, trying to do the sound of the drum kick and the snare. This album is damn good. Very energetic, melodic, and yet, on your face, old school, intense, good, well played, etc etc… This album will be on top ten for sure in many Thrash Metal lists. Check them.

Band: Horn
Title: Daudswiärk
Label: Northern Silence Productions
Release date: 03 May 2024
Country: Germany
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

You, yes you. The person that is reading these words. Did you know this band? Well, to be honest I hope so. The band is alive since 2003. I personally do not know all releases, but what I know I like it a lot. This album is one more that will be on my list. This band knows what to do and this album, is the proof of that. Check them.

Band: Vaticinal Rites
Title: Cascading Memories of Immortality
Label: Everlasting Spew Records
Release date: 10 May 2024
Country: England
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

What do I have here? It’s an interesting Death Metal album indeed. It reminds me of Death on the solos parts, but also Pestilence in some riffs, but also, some Brutal Death Metals with those arpeggios here and there. Some technical moments but also old-school touches. If it was on purpose, I can say the band made the mix very well. I was jumping from memories, from riff after riff. I advice this album. Check the band.

See you next week and…

Don’t forget to support the bands and labels.
