It’s Wednesday my dudes! Well, our dudes! We hope you are ready for this week’s instalment of The Underground Updates!

BENIGHTED A concept album about a neurological disorder set to brutal death metal? Must be France’s death metal juggernaut Benighted and new album Ekbom. The album is out now on Season of Mist and there are CDs, various vinyl pressings and a whackload of t-shirts and other merch to be had. Check it all out here where you can listen to the album in full. Tasty.

KING YOSEF Industrial metal machine King Yosef has some new merch up on the Bleakhouse webstore. There are some cool t-shirts and long-sleeves there. Plus while you’re at it, you can pick up limited, colour vinyl pressings of last year’s An Underlying Hum album. Why would you not? Check it all out here.

SENTIENT RUIN LABORATORIES Few do universe-crushing extreme metal like Sentient Ruin Laboratories does and if you want to show your love for one of the best underground extreme metal labels in the game, head on over to their webstore where there’s a metric ton of long-sleeves, t-shirts and hoodies to be had (of crushing beasts like Rigorous Institution, Altarage and Gawthrop. Check them out here and if you aren’t in the know, go check out the bands too.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
