To start I remember seeing the cover of the previous album and read a few things about it but… Didn’t have a listen. Shame on me. True. Meh. Anyway… This time I grabbed the album and… Uh la la. Very good. I was in need of listening to some really good Black Metal. The songs in this album managed to grab my attention/feelings very well, good riffs, good atmosphere, good voice, the album is a must have in all Black Metal collectors, that is my sincere opinion. Check them.

For the ones that don’t know, Kawir is one of the first bands Black Metal bands from Hellas. I have been a fan of them since the second EP “Προς Κάβειρους (To Cavirs)”. Unfortunately in comparison to other Hellenic Black Metal bands, the reception by the Black Metal lovers was not always the best, this is my opinion based on the labels Kawir’s history… Moving forward… Kawir is always been a strong band and always released very damn good albums, EP’s, splits, etc. And this album is once more the proof of that. This album is a masterpiece in my opinion, this album is damn good, this album is… True Hellenic Black Metal

Without reading the promo pack and looking for something, this band name caught my attention and from what I found is a Norwegian word. It means Square or right angle. Hmmmm… But the band… I don’t know why but didn’t sound me Norse… Not cause of the music style played, cause I know a few bands inside this kind of music, well, knew… Hmmm… While the music was playing on my stereo, some searching and voilá… The band is from Greece, well, based in Greece, the only member is originally from Russia… Ok… Now, time to read the promo pack… Ahahahah. About the music. The band is moving in my opinion is an Avantgarde Black Death Metal music style. The songs, the tempos, the riffs, the sound equalization, the sound production, the voice, and the cover, are all amazing. Truly is. You need to check this and travel inside the world of music.
