Hello there,

One split and two albums… It’s few, yes, but it is with 101% of quality. I started to listen to this band cause of the musician Dehá and… We need to say thank you Internet. Yes, we must. Three musicians, three corners of our beautiful world, and together they manage to create a magnificent album. The previous releases were already quite pleasant in my opinion, but this album… Magnificent. It managed to touch my core, it seemed like I needed something specific to listen and feel alive. They did it very well. As I said, magnificent album. An album not to be missed.

Band: Daemoniac

Well, this band is for NWOSDM fans. Are you? I’m. I remember being a kid and listening to Dismember, Carnage, Entombed, Nihilist, Grave, and that HM-2 pedal… Arghhhhh. Well, if you are a fan of this, then this band is for you and for me too. Olf Fashion and stopped in time? Maybe, but I don’t care. I really enjoyed the album and I advise it to everyone. But I have to say one thing here, this band/album is not so melodic as the Swedish bands.

Band: Heraldic Blaze
Title: Blazoned Heraldry
Label: Purity Through Fire
Release date: 20 March 2024
Country: USA / Norway
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

First impression? Well… Very different from the Black Metal that I listen to. And I listen to from Lofi till well produced. This duo… Well, they call them band or project (future will tell) Medieval Black Metal, not the first time I read it, but with this kind of sound, it is. So the definition is very well said. But… Even if the band plays Black Metal with some folk instruments here and there, there is also another thing. Reverb, a lot… So sometimes you can listen to a Rockabilly band mixed with Black Metal but also a kind of “Surfy” Black Metal band. The definition can be strange? Yes, but that is what I listen to. And you know what? I like it. Check them.

See you next week and…

Don’t forget to support the bands and labels.
