And The Underground Updates is back to a correct date!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

MNHG Last Thursday Immortal Frost Productions premiered the fourth single and the music video for The Devil Eyes by the German group MNHG which came hot from their second full length album Necare scheduled for a release on March 29th! Head over here right now to check out the single, and of course over here to place your album order!

NEUROT RECORDINGS Our favourite weekly segment is everlasting! This week’s album pick over at Neurot Recordings for the Pay What You Can segment is A Mind Is A Terrible Thing by Christ on Parade! Head over here right now to claim your copy and simply pay what you can!

DISTANT Sweet and short from Distant, who will be on the road this May and June supporting Austrian Death Machine and Suffocation! Make sure to follow up with them for additional information on dates and locations!

THY CATAFALQUE The Hungarian avant-garde Thy Catafalque is about to embark on their very first European headline tour in March and April! We hear that limited passes are available though, so make sure you keep your eyes open for additional information on dates and locations!

CORPUS DIAVOLIS With Easter just around the corner, what better time for some satanic black metal? Hailing from Marseille, France Corpus Diavolis do indeed appear to be summoning some dark forces on their latest album Elixiria Ekstasis. The album is out now on Les Acteurs de L’Ombre Productions. Pick up a copy here and listen to the album in full.

OF DARKNESS The latest blast of extreme-metal madness from Sentient Ruin Laboratories has just been announced. Missa Tridentina by Barcelona’s Of Darkness (featuring members of Graveyard, Teitanblood and Emanation) is a powerful assault of black funeral doom (let’s party!). The album is available to pre-order on very cool looking coloured 10” vinyl. Check it out here, where you can listen to the album in full. Release date March 29th.

OPIUM LORD UKBlack/sludge metal makers Opium Lord have added some cool t-shirts to their bandcamp merch page. Check them out here (alongside some limited edition vinyl you can still snaffle)

LISTENABLE RECORDS And speaking of t-shirts, France’s Listenable Records just added a stack of designs to their bandcamp merch page. You can find all sorts there, Ministry, Testament, Ghost, Amon Amarth and loads more. Check them out here.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder.

While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
