#BAZUndergroundUpdates CLXXVII

3 min read

Our favourite day of the week is upon us once again and of course The Underground Updates comes along with it!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

ELBOW DEEP/HANDSOME PRICK If you find yourself in or close to Gary Indiana on October 21st, you should be aware of the fact that HPGD Productions recording artists Elbow Deep and Handsome Prick will be performing like at XPW´s Theater of Brutality! Head over here to claim your ticket now and check out the lineup!

DRAGGED UP Glasgow´s premier proto-punk garage rockers Dragged Up have some nice-looking shows lined up in September and October, in support of their new EP Hex Domestic which will be released this coming Friday! Head over here to see where the shows will be held, to get your ticket, and of course over here to get the new EP when time comes!

BLACK LION RECORDS The good staff over at Black Lion Records has sent out a big thank you to all of their patrons for their support in their recent turbulent times, and its safe to say that the future is looking bright for music lovers because they are extending their sale throughout September! A whopping 70% off with the code blacklion70 is now available so we absolutely encourage all of you out there to head over here right now and check out their great selection!

HELLDPROD RECORDS There is a good-looking campaign going on over at Helldprod Records, available until September 11th in includes up to 50% on all merch! Head over here to check it out now!

EVERLASTING SPEW RECORDS Over at Everlasting Spew Records is a nice offer going on as well, which includes the code SPIT5 in order to get a 5€ discount on orders over 30,00€! The offer is valid until the 10th of September so make sure you head over here to check out the 1600+ articles from various underground labels!

BURNING WITCH With avantgarde, Extreme Metal nightmare makers Khanate having recently returned with the harrowing To Be Cruel, what better moment to go way back to a past iteration, namely Burning Witch? Southern Lord have now reissued two previously out of print releases by the short-lived band on limited vinyl. Check them both out here.

PEST PRODUCTIONS China’s Black Metal/ Dark Folk label Pest Productions has recently put out several new and varied releases. Hmmm which one to mention here? That requires too much brain power. Just head over to the label and browse the catalogue. There’s a lot of music well worth investigating on the label.

SINKE DÜS provides something of a change of pace here with Modus Vivendi. This Dark Ambient album is the follow up to 2007’s Akrasia and will be released by Cyclic Law on the 22nd of September. For now, you can check out the album’s opening track here and if that tickles you, maybe you’d care to pre-order a limited CD copy.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder.

While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
