#BAZUndergroundUpdates CLXVII

3 min read

Surely there is no need for a witty introduction anymore, you all know what today is about, right?

So, let’s see what’s out there…

WALLOWING What is available now is footage of Wallowing appearing as the first ever metal band playing at Waterstones Book Shop! Their second album Earth Reaper was released just a couple of months ago, and so you can head over here to watch the amazing material captured by Lauren Mason of TORPOR!

TANKCRIMES You better have quick hands here in case you haven’t already checked out the slasher sale over at Tankcrimes! 52 titles from their CD and LP catalogue have been marked down 20-33.3% until the end of June, which is just until the end of this very week! Make sure you head over here now and check out the selection!

NEUROT RECORDINGS Once again Neurot Recordings has picked yet another album for their weekly Pay What You Can segment, and this week it’s Inversum by Dark Buddha Rising! Head right over here to claim your copy and simply pay what you can!

ASPHALT Fans of the droning doom metal of Hell (M.S.W.) have some new music to enjoy. T.A.S. and M.S.W. have just released the imaginatively titled E.P. under the name Asphalt. You can listen to the release in full here and pay what you want for a digital copy. When your opening track is called “Piss Coffin”, you can be sure there’ll be some bleak content. Just what we need to bring the tone down on a sunny day!

SANCTUARIUM If you’re the kind of person who delights in descriptions like “Rotted Death Doom coming from the Mephitic Abyss” then you’ll want to check out Into The Mephitic Abyss, the debut album by Sanctuarium. The album is available now via Spain’s BlackSeed Productions and there are a whole range of different formats available. Check them all out here and listen to the album in full.

DECOHERENCE Carving out a notable path for themselves in the realms of dissonant death metal, the UK’s Decoherence have announced their latest album Order, to be released on the 28th of July. You can listen to the bleak, suffocating preview track here and check out the limited vinyl options to purchase.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder.

While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
