Hello there,

The second Saturday in June… The warm is getting high and summer is almost here. Some love it, some hate it. That is the truth… But it doesn’t matter if we have our beloved metal playing and some cold beer too. Ahahahahahahah

Check my few recos…

Band: Ataraxy
Title: The Last Mirror
Label: Me Saco un Ojo Records
Release date: 17 June 2022
Country: Spain
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

They are back and with an amazing album. A very good death metal, as we were used to in previous releases. But not only Death Metal is present here. You will listen to a very good dose of Doom Metal. The mix is very well done. If you don’t know these Spanish masters… Well… Is time for that.

Band: Bekor Qilish
Title: Throes Of Death From The Dreamed Nihilism
Label: I, Voidhanger Records
Release date: 17 June 2022
Country: Italy
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

This is… Hmmm… Strange but good? Avantgarde metal mixed with experimental and also technical parts that makes your brain think “what a hell?”. Yes, all that and many more to be honest. This album is not an album that will “enter” on all ears. That is sure. But after that… Oh my… So damn good.

Band: Hats barn
Title: Y.a.HW.e.H
Label: Osmose Productions
Release date: 24 June 2022
Country: France
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

I remember listening to this band and I have a few releases of them, I think 2 to be honest. And then in 2010, I had the chance to see them together with 3 more bands. Was a good Black Metal night. After that… Well… I lost contact with the band. So when I saw this promo I decided to listen to it. Good Black Metal in my opinion. Not special or any big deal, but they manage to create good songs. Check them.

Band: Morrigan
Title: Anwynn
Label: Werewolf Records
Release date: 24 June 2022
Country: Germany
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

Does anyone remember this band? Well, they stopped a few times, restarted again… And… Well, didn’t help to be honest, but life sometimes tricks us and is a need to stop and return later… And if I mention Mahemic Truth? Do you remember? Well, Morrigan is the continuation… They move inside the pagan Black Metal with epic moments. Nothing new but I like it. Check them.

Don’t forget to support the bands and labels.
