#BAZUndergroundUpdates CVIII

NOTTURNO One-man atmospheric depressive black metal project Notturno’s debut record Obsessions has just been released on Hypnotic Dirge Records. KATHAROS XIII If you like noirish atmospheric metal, you need to have Romania’s Katharos XIII in your life. With two excellent albums already available through Loud Rage Music, the band’s third album Chthonian Transmissionsis set for release through the label on 23 May. There are a number of editions you can pre-order—including bundles. Check them out—alongside the opening track of the new album—here.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative. So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.

As May passes by in what we hope will be quickly, it draws ever closer to better times in the form of summer. More and more concerts are finally happening, and we at Blessed Altar Zine remain hopeful that brighter pandemic free times are ahead! Good job on keeping those horns clean, satanized and held high above all!
