The last album from this Greek band was in 2015 and since then, they released a bunch of EP and splits. At least they stayed active. Concerning this album… Well… Are you A Death, Pestilance, Obituary, Master or Massacre fan? If you are, this is for you. Is very well done, very well played, and a strong album. If you are not, I can only say that you will loose a very good album.

To give you a bit of info about this band, they released already one demo and one split and now the EP, which I writing some words about it. The band is moving inside the Death Metal world, to be more exact inside the rotten one and at the same time, I could say a bit experimental or sometimes nonsense. I explain… It looks sometimes that the band is only playing random riffs and a growling voice and crazy or frenetic solos. I admit that listening to this EP was not well accepted at first hearing but after a few times, the songs started to flow very well in my ears and I decided to write a few lines about it. Check them.

To start, the release date mentioned above is only for the single according to the press release I got, but the EP has 5 songs. Well, the other 4 songs are taken from the EP released in 2020. Talking about just one new song and what could be released is good and bad at the same time. To be even more correct is a guess. Could be in the same style/line but at the same time could be just that the good song of the future release. Hope not to be honest, cause the single is very good. I advise this band to fans of At the Gates, Old Dark Tranquility, Old In Flames, Old Soilwork, Darkane, etc etc.

Band: Druadan Forest

For the ones who don’t know this one-man band, you should. The person behind it as been a very active one in past bands like for example ex-Azaghal, ex-Hiisi, ex-Kalmankantaja, ex-Marras, ex-Hin Onde, just mention a few but also active with Embryonic Slumber, Olio Tähtien Takana, V-Khaoz or Vargrav. From what I know about all the mentioned bands, Druadan Forest is the more ambient and Dungeon Synth band. The album managed to transport me and gave me several hours of pleasure while listening to the album. Check it.
