#BAZUndergroundUpdates LXXXIX
It feels as if the days are becoming shorter by the minute, the darkness no longer just looms in the corners as autumn fully takes over from summer and winter is just around the corner. Yet nothing dulls our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Boatman and their long surviving article of The Underground Updates.
So, let’s see what’s out there…
CEPHEIDE Coming up on December 3rd is the new album titled Les Échappées by the French Cepheide and so now one track has been made available already for our pleasure, so head right over here to listen to L´Ivresse. If you should like it, as we do suspect you will, you can head over here and here to place a preorder.
ANTI RITUAL This past Friday, October 1st, Anti Ritual delivered the first single from their upcoming debut album titled Expel The Leeches and you can head straight over here to listen to the track Monetary Man, and watch the fabulous video by Morten Grønnegaard, who also co-created the album’s artwork!
BLACK LION RECORDS Since October tends to be gloomy and sad, we would like to underline the continued sale by the label Black Lion Records, which includes both Name your price on Digital and a 25% off physical with the code autumn25. There is also a free tracked shipment when you order 3 CDs or more. So, head over here to check out the selection!
MSW A fall sale is at hand through October at Lower Your Head merchandise page! From the 1st to the 30th you can use Lofisludge at the checkout and get 15% off any order over $20! With the cooling weather upon us it sure is a good idea now to get your claws on a good zip hoodie and some long sleeve shirts, so head straight over here, if you’re into Hell and related projects, to check it out and get yours before it’s all gone!
SLUDGELORD RECORDS Word has it that somebody´s garage is getting full and so Sludgelord Records has decided on some sort of an October Rice Crash in the form of a brutal price drops on items such as Coilguns, Naisin and Bethmoora along with many others. Hurry up over here to check out which items carry this special offer, and keep in mind that the traditional Name your Price download for this month is of course present, and this time it´s Bible Basher´s Loud Wailing EP which you can get over here.
GNAW THEIR TONGUES Anyone familiar with the terrifying auditory onslaught that is Gnaw Their Tongues will know that this is not for the faint of heart. For those with that particular shade of twisted fortitude rejoice, for there is a new vinyl edition of Eschatological Scatology for you to charm your friends and neighbours with. Check it out here where you can also get a digital copy for name your price.
EVULSE If you’ve been sadly staring out your window saying to yourself “oh how I feel the melancholic absence of some disgustingly heavy Death Metal in my life right now” well your wishes have been granted, as Transylvanian Recordings have just put out 3 limited colour vinyl pressings of Postulant Spawn by Evulse (originally released last year), which just as gloriously gnarled as the title suggests. Check it out here. AND! You can also pay what you want for a digital copy. Do so.
HYPERDONTIA When the opening track is called Snakes of Innards you best believe you’re in for some gruesome Death Metal and so it would seem to be with Hideous Entity, the forthcoming album by by Hyperdontia, due out on Me Saco Un Ojo Records on November 12th. Sadly the swamp green (niiiice) vinyl is all gone, but there’s still black vinyl and CDs to be had on pre-order (alongside some tasty merch) right here, as well as a preview track for your listening pleasure.
Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative. So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
