Neverfade – Children of Hurin single is out via King2Music Records
Neverfade are best described as a modern traditional heavy metal band rather than a hard rock band. They are part of the self-described New Wave of Finnish Heavy Metal (NWOFHM) movement, aiming to revive the melodic, twin-guitar-driven sound of 1980s heavy metal while giving it a contemporary production and energy.
Neverfade is the north star of the New Wave of Finnish Heavy Metal movement. The band
plays traditional heavy metal with their own unique sound and touch, drawing influence from
legends like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest as they go. Neverfade released its debut album
”Thieves In The Night” on January 31st, 2025 to great reception from critics and fans alike,
and is releasing new music during the spring of 2026.
The band’s live show is full of energy and theatrics, providing an unforgettable experience for
anyone who enjoys proper heavy metal. Over-the-top in good taste, Neverfade brings a show
designed for big arenas to every performance they play—big or small. Their twin guitar work,
engaging crowd interactions, powerful vocals, tight rhythmic section combined with theatrics,
costume changes, and choreography are a sight to behold when seeing Neverfade live.
The band was formed in 2022 by former Crimson Day bandmates Jesse Liukkonen, Lassi
Landström and Jesse Kämäräinen in Tampere. Since then, Neverfade has soldiered on,
conquering Finland, Sweden and the Baltics on tour and released a well received debut album
