#News #Stream The Fifth Alliance – Stenahoria

April 28th, 2026, Ardua Music (CD), Breathe Plastic Records (MC) & Tartarus Records (10″) are proud to present The Fifth Alliance’s fourth album “Stenahoria”.

The Fifth Alliance, a doom/(post)(black) metal band from Breda, the Netherlands, has announced the release of their new album “Stenahoria”, scheduled for May 29, 2026. Formed in late 2006, the band initially emerged from a chaotic hardcore background before gradually evolving their sound into a blend of doom, post-metal, and hypnotic black metal elements.

With “Stenahoria”, the band continues to explore and expand the boundaries between these styles. A notable addition to the lineup is vocalist Natalya Thelen (ex-Yantras), whose dynamic vocal range moves between raw intensity and delicate restraint, adding new emotional depth to the band’s sound.

The album was recorded in June and July 2025 at Hearse Studio in Belgium with Lander Cluyse and later mixed and mastered by Mendel Bij de Leij (ex-Aborted). It also features drummer Peter Scheffer (Soliton), further strengthening the band’s lineup. Sonically, “Stenahoria” is defined by dense, heavy riffs, cold atmospheric textures, and an overarching sense of bleakness.

Thematically, the album draws on shared human experiences such as sorrow, fear, and confinement, which are reflected in both its lyrical content and sonic direction. Through layered compositions and shifting dynamics, the record develops into an immersive and emotionally intense listening experience.

Stenahoria” consists of five tracks:
1. Phoenix
2. Benandanti
3. The Fool On The Hill
4. Battle Of Barnet
5. Jakob

The tracks “Phoenix” and “The Fool On The Hill” have already been released ahead of the album.
