Moribund Oblivion Release Official Video for “In the Middle of the Dark Chaos” taken from the album Intertemporal via Theogonia Records
Turkish black metal pioneers Moribund Oblivion have unveiled the official music video for “In the Middle of the Dark Chaos,” a powerful track taken from their latest album INTERTEMPORAL. The new video captures the dark atmosphere and intense sonic identity that the band has refined over more than two decades in the black metal scene.
“In the Middle of the Dark Chaos” delivers a relentless blend of aggression, atmosphere, and philosophical depth, reflecting the conceptual themes explored throughout INTERTEMPORAL. The track was written by Bahadır Uludağlar, who also composed the music and lyrics, while the arrangements were developed collectively by Moribund Oblivion. The song’s crushing sound was mixed by Feyzi Ocak and mastered by Erman Aydöner at Lavega Sound Studio, ensuring a powerful and immersive listening experience.
The video was directed and edited by Kenan Haliloğlu, whose visual interpretation brings the track’s dark narrative to life with striking imagery and cinematic intensity. Color grading was handled by Thomas Hammarström, while lighting was provided by Onur Karaca of Pusula Işık, adding depth and atmosphere to the production. Behind-the-scenes footage was captured by Alper Şengül, with filming taking place at Josephine Studio. The entire production was realized by X Medya, bringing together a talented team to translate Moribund Oblivion’s dark vision into a compelling visual form.
