Gaerea will release a new album on March 20th via Century Media Records, words by Pegah
The Portuguese post-black metal band GAEREA is releasing their 5th full-length album “Loss” on the 20th of March, via Century Media Records. Through Loss, GAEREA intertwine the aesthetics of extreme metal with the vastness of post-rock, revealing a deeply exposed emotional core and carving out a new musical paradigm.
Known for their anonymity, masked imagery, and intense live performances, GAEREA have rapidly become one of the most compelling acts in modern extreme metal. With “Loss”, the band appears poised to further expand their musical identity while maintaining the emotional depth and bleak atmosphere that define their work.
“Loss” will feature nine tracks, including:

- Submerged
- Hellbound
- Uncontrolled
- Phoenix
- Cyclone
- LBRNTH
- Nomad
- Stardust
From the album’s track list, “Submerged”, “Hellbound”, “Phoenix”, and “Nomad” have already been released as single tracks throughout 2025 and early 2026.
