Dutch thrash commandos Mass Deception Announces New Album

Dutch heavy metal force Mass Deception is back to complete the saga they began in 2015. The band’s long-awaited third full-length album, Resurrections, is set to be released on July 25 via Gruesome Records, arriving on CD, vinyl, and digital formats.

Founded in The Netherlands with a bold vision to craft a trilogy of albums, Mass Deception laid the foundation with Revelations (2016) and Redemptions (2019), followed by the EP Halls of Amenti (2022). Now, with Resurrections, the final chapter arrives and it’s heavier, sharper, and more energized than ever before.

Following a few line-up changes over the years, Mass Deception has solidified a steel-solid formation, channeling years of collective experience and an uncompromising passion for metal. Members hail from veteran acts like Asphyx, God Dethroned, Cirith Gorgor, and Inhume, bringing with them decades of stage-hardened intensity.

Musically, Resurrections is a powerhouse fusion of Heavy Metal, Thrash, and NWOBHM, packed with technical precision and explosive songwriting. The band proudly draws influence from genre-defining acts such as Flotsam and Jetsam, Meliah Rage, Laaz Rockit, Nocturnus, Testament, King Diamond and Judas Priest, all while forging a sound distinctly their own.

Mixed and mastered at the renowned Soundlodge Studios (Anvil, Suicidal Angels, God Dethroned, Dew-Scented), Resurrections captures the band at their most ferocious and focused stage.

And for the purists, there’s no AI, no MIDI drum computers, no shortcuts. Just raw, honest, and thunderous heavy metal.
