CYTOTOXIN Nuclear quintet Cytotoxin are about to kick off their European tour in support of their upcoming fifth full-length album Biographyte! The band continues their blast of a musical and lyrical concept, tackling the catastrophic incident at the Chernobyl power plant in 1986, so make sure you don’t miss out on this one and keep your eyes open for tickets!

CHEPANG It’s not every day that you get a grindcore sampling Nepali pop music and singing in Nepali—enter Queens, New York’s Chepang. Following 2023’s Swatta, the group’s latest album Jhyappa is coming via Relapse Records on the 23rd of May. You can listen to two preview tracks from the album here where you can also pre-order the album on mustard yellow vinyl, CD or cassette.

SOLFATARE Belgian, black-metal trio Solfatare will release their debut full-length Asservis par l’espoir on Signal Rex on the 2nd of May. For now you can listen to two preview tracks from the album here. The album is also available to pre-order on CD or vinyl directly from the label here. It’s the damnedest thing, when I look out the window, I see the sun shining, but with Solfatare playing it seems like the destruction of the world is just a little bit closer.
