BAZUndergroundUpdates CCXXXVIII

And here we are again! The second week of November has started, and our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Osman continue to wonder where all the time goes!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

DARKEST HOUR US melodic death metal heavyweights Darkest Hour will be supporting Fit For An Autopsy and Sylosis alongside Heriot on their EU tour this November and December! The tickets are already up for grabs, and we suggest you go and have quick hands to secure your very own to a show in Europe near you!

CULT OF FIRE Later on in November, on the 22nd, we will get the chance to witness Cult of Fire´s show with Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague in Divadlo Hybernia! Since they already performed together on Brutal Assault, we recommend that you head over here to check out the previous performance, so that we know what to expect, and of course over here to check out information on the event, and here for tickets!

MOON DESTROYS Now this is an exciting one; Moon Destroys are stoked to announce that they will be supporting the mighty Elder in April next year for the Lore 10th anniversary tour! Along for the ride are fellow rippers Sacri Monti, and tickets are available right now over here!

NEUROT RECORDINGS And as always, Neurot Recordings are not missing, and this week’s album pick for their weekly Pay What You Can segment is Run Thick in the Night by U.S. Christmas! Head over here to claim your copy, and simply pay what you can!

BIND TORTURE KILL Well if your band is called Bind Torture Kill it fits very well that you’ll be playing a brand of death metal and grindcore. And so it is with the Lyon three-piece and their latest record Sauvagerie. Prepare to be bludgeoned! Listen to the album in full here. You can also buy a cassette copy direct from Breathe Plastic Records, should your dark heart so desire.

MOLDER Feeling inclined for some gruesome death metal? Then you’d do well to check out Molder and their latest gory offering. Catastrophic Reconfiguration (out on Prosthetic Records) has the band feeding their obsession with all things decomposing. Listen to the album in full here, where you can also pick up a vinyl or CD copy.

DISTANT Dutch/ Slovakian deathcore group Distant are set to release Tsukuyomi: The Origin (on the 22nd of November on Century Media Records), an expanded and reworked version of their debut EP — to celebrate the band’s 10-year anniversary. You can listen to preview tracks here. Meanwhile, if you’d like a physical copy (including vinyl and bundles, head to the band’s website.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
