LIVLØS Danish melodic death metal titans unveiled just last Friday their epic third full-length album The Crescent King! With the new album, they continue to deliver its punishing style of heavy grooves, forlorn melodies and progressive musicianship, so there is absolutely no way that you can let this album pass you by! Oh and one last thing, Livløs also happens to be heading out on a national tour that includes festival appearances in the fall alongside 2025 headlining shows in some of the biggest cities of Denmark! LACUNA COIL Now announced a new album, Sleepless Empire, the Italian metal titans of Lacuna Coil are releasing their 10th studio album as well as the unveiling of the first new single Oxygen! WITHIN THE RUINS Progressive deathcore giants Within the Ruins will kick off a short run of Southwestern headlining shows this week in the US and Canada, and support will be provided by Dreamwake! THE SPIRIT Operating on the more technical end of the black-metal spectrum, Germany’s The Spirit put out their second album, Of Clarity And Galactic Structures, back in 2022. Now the band has unearthed a few copies of the long-sold-out limited, marbled-vinyl version of the album. If you’re nimble, you can snaffle a copy here.
T RAKTAT Time for some cold, hard black metal in the form of Traktat with their debut album Dogmatic Accusations — due for release on Fiadh Productions and Breath Sun Bone Blood on the 25th of October. There are two preview tracks you can listen to here to bring winter right into your home. Follow the links if you want to buy a copy for shipping in Europe, or to get a digital copy straight from the band.
KRUELTY Tokyo, Japan’s Kruelty do a mean mix of hardcore and death metal. The band is set to follow up 2023’s Untopia with their latest EP Profane Usurpation. The 19th of November will see the release on Profound Lore Records. In the meantime you can listen to a preview track here where you can also pre-order the record on one of three very cool looking colour-vinyl variants.
