If it isn’t officially September! Fall has arrived, and it is safe to say that this fall is absolutely filled with some mental goodness!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

April 2025 free and head for Inferno Metal Festival in Norway, as awesome bands have recently been announced, including Satyricon, Rotting Christ, Attan, UMA and Dizmal! Joining already announced bands such as Behemoth, you can head right over here already and book your ticket!

PRISONER Now Prisoner has got some crushers lined up for September and they are pumped to get back out there! They hope to see all of us soon so make sure you keep your eyes wide open for those locations, and of course tickets!

NEUROT RECORDINGS And of course as always, our favourite Pay What You Can segment over at Neurot Recordings continues! This week’s album pick is Ecate by Ufomammut! Head over here right now and claim your very own copy, and simply pay what you can!

HORRENDOUS In 2018 Horrendous exploded from the underground with the cultishly beloved Idol, and now it marks the first anniversary of Ontological Mysterium, and what better way to celebrate than with a first-ever music video? Track Preterition Hymn from the album now comes with a glorious film treatment that no one can leave unwatched, so make sure you head over here to check it out!

LOCRIAN Just now the official video for After Extinction has been released by Locrian, which is the final track from their latest album End Terrain! They claim the video brings a whole new depth to the track, so make sure you head straight over here to check it out!

WITCHING HOUR PRODUCTIONS Just about now the final sale over at Witching Hour Productions (Batushka store) is still going strong until the 8th of this month, so make sure you head straight over here for some goodies with up to 50% off! Keep in mind that no code is required, and everything must go!

SUR AUSTRU Returning with their third album, Romanian folk/progressive-black-metal group Sur Austru have just released Datura Străhiarelor on Italy’s Avantgarde Music. Dark, heavy, atmospheric and intense, you can listen to the full album here, where you can pick up a double-vinyl, CD or digital copy.

S.H.I. Japan’s S.H.I. mix hardcore, sludge and industrial metal elements into a unique, grimey and aggressive stew. The band’s debut album (AKA Death) is available from Sentient Ruin Laboratories. Listen in full hereand pick up a copy on CD, cassette or digital.o vinyl versions. Not one for your local church service… well, maybe it depends on the church.

ABERRATOR Death and doom is coming! Mysterious extreme-metal entity Aberrator will unleash their debut death-metal assault Beckoning Tribulation on the 11th of October on Dark Descent Records. It’s 9am here right now and the sun is up, still, listening to the album’s title track it feels like night has suddenly fallen and there’s a pressing need to double bolt the doors. Have a listen here, where you can pre-order the album on standard and coloured vinyl, as well as CD.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
