We are all familiar with the drill by now, right? At least our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Osman are, and they are not wasting any time!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

REDEFINING DARKNESS RECORDS Last Friday Redefining Darkness Records started a huge summer sale, which is by far the biggest sale they have ever had! It is a webstore sale only, so all you need to do is head right over here to check out the selection and the offers!

AGONIA RECORDS Until the end of July, all digital albums over at Agonia Records are only $4.99 and all physical orders are 10% off using the code bandcamp10! Head over here right now to get your hands on the goodies!

PAPANGU Partly inspired by prog titans like King Crimson and Magma (alongside a dose of the heavy stuff) Lampião Rei is the second album by Brazil’s Papangu (out in September on the UK’s Repose Records). September, you say, but that’s ages away! Well, maybe so, but the coloured vinyl pressing is almost sold out. So head here, check out the preview track and if you dig, get on it.

SUR AUSTRU Avantgarde by name, avantgarde by nature as Italy’s Avantgarde Music announce Datura Străhiarelor, the third album by Romanian folk/progressive black metal (there’s something you don’t get every week) band Sur Austru. The album will be out near the end of August, but in the meantime head over here for a preview track where you can also pre-order CD or limited vinyl of the album.

SEASON OF MIST To paraphrase legendary AC/DC frontman Bon Scott: If you want merch, you got it… at the Season of Mist webstore. New t-shirts are in, alongside CDs, bundles, vinyl and all sorts. Check it out here.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
