BAZUndergroundUpdates CCXVIII

It’s here once again! Our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Osman continue to take time out of their sunny days to present to our readers brand new instalments each week of The Underground Updates, and we hope you enjoy!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

HOUKAGO GRIND TIME The California-based solo mince core/goregrind act Houkago Grind Time has now unveiled an official video for Cruel Grinder´s Thesis through a premiere at the Gore Grinder YouTube channel! The track is the latest preview of the project ́s impending third album Koncertos Of Kawaiiness: Stealing Jon Chang´s Ideas, A Book by Andrew Lee, nearing release in August! Having been recorded and mixed by Andrew Lee at his home studio, you can now allow the track to maul you into submission right over here!

FULCI The Italian death metal quintet Fulci will be dropping their fourth LP, Duck Face Killings on august 9th but right now it’s possible to get a little sweet taste from the upcoming release right over here, where you can listen to and see the full visualizer of the track Rotten Apple!

NEUROT RECORDINGS As most of you have noticed, this one is one of our absolute favourites! Over at Neurot Recordings the weekly Pay What You Can segment continues and this week’s album pick is no other than If I Should Fall to The Field by Steven Von Till! Head over here right now to get your hands on a copy, and simply pay what you can!

ARCHSPIRE The Everything´s F#*!@d North American Tour by Archspire has begun its final stretch of dates, and with only a few days to go the tickets are also going very fast! Head over here right now and check the locations and dates, and of course secure your ticket!

KVAEN Pagan black metal unit Kvaen are back. The band’s latest record of grand, melodic metal The Formless Fires is out now on Black Lion/ Metal Blade Records. You can access US and EU shipped vinyl here (the album is also available on CD and digitally). Listen to the album in full on the link above.

REPLACIRE Tech-death barn-burners Replacire have just released their latest album The Center That Cannot Hold (a fitting name for music that’s the auditory equivalent of getting spun round in a tornado). Check out the album in full here, you can get hold of CD or vinyl copies, as well as a range of t-shirts to go with the release.

OV SHADOWS Swedish black metal band Ov Shadows have just released their third (and to be last) album Heresiarch on Hypnotic Dirge Records. Check out the album in full here for the sound of the world caving in on itself and doom descending on all lands.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
