#BAZUndergroundUpdates CCVII

3 min read

It’s another Wednesday! This April sure appears beautiful for many as the weather is improving and summer is drawing ever closer! Of course, The Underground Updates continue as the seasons, and that’s why you are here right?

So, let’s see what’s out there…

NEUROT RECORDINGS Our weekly favourite is back at it once again, just like us! This week’s album pick for their weekly segment of Pay What You Can would be no other than A Deep Voiceless Wilderness by Steve Von Till! Head straight over here right now to secure your copy and simply pay what you can!

BLACK LION RECORDS The ongoing offer over at Black Lion Records is still going on so there is yet time for you to claim some goodies worth 30 euros or more to receive free shipping! In addition, they have an exclusive 25% discount available for purchases on Bandcamp! Head over here and here right now to enjoy this limited time and make sure you have quick hands as the offer is just about to expire! Remember to use the code blacklion25 at checkout!

BLACK LAVA Something wicked this way comes (from Melbourne, Australia), in the form of The Savage Winds to Wisdom. The second album by blackened prog-death band Black Lava will be out on Seasons of Mist on July 12th. In the meantime there’s a thunderous preview track you can listen to here and pre-orders available of CD and vinyl copies (t-shirts too!)

LUST HAG One Woman Feral Metal is what Lust Hag refers to themselves as and who are we to argue! Propulsive black metal that barrels along, somehow as hooky as it is nasty and gritty. There’s a great preview track to be heard here with vinyl, CD and cassette copies all available for pre-order.

SUMAC Featuring Aaron Turner of ISIS fame, experimental metal three-piece SUMAC returns on June 21st with latest record The Healer. Two vinyl versions are already sold out (as are CDs). Fortunately there’s now another vinyl edition (on coke bottle clear 2LP) available on bandcamp via Thrill Jockey Records. Snaffle up a copy before it’s too late and the world collapses in on itself in an explosion of flames.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
