There is a lot to be mentioned in this week´s Underground Updates installment so our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Osman are just going to dive directly into it!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

NIXIL Baltimore’s Nixil has now announced their first nationwide US tour which is set to take place from March 28th – April 20th, and since it’s their first time going around it is more important than ever to be there and show them some love! Head over here now to check out the locations, dates, and of course tickets!

CROWBAR Having confirmed a two-week spring run from March 30th through April 14th, Crowbar has announced their latest round of US headlining dates! With support from Morbid Visionz, you should really keep your eyes open for the tickets and locations, as you will get a chance to see Crowbar perform a special set of songs from their Crowbar and Odd Fellows Restalbums as a part of the annual Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest in Philadelphia on April 12th!

PIG DESTROYER The US East Coast headline run by Pig Destroyer has been announced with support from Jarhead Fertilizer, No/Más and Bandit! Head over here right now to secure your ticket right now!

NEUROT RECORDINGS The weekly Pay What You Can segment over at Neurot Recordings continues to spread joy, and this week’s album pick is Songs of Townes Van Zandt, vol. II by John Baizley/Nate Hall/Mike Scheidt! Head over here right now to claim your very own copy and simply pay what you can!

LVME Looking for some black metal with that nasty, raw sound of old (but with plenty of intriguing twists and turns)? Well then you’d be advised to check out Of Sinful Nature, by LVME, out now on NoEvDie. You can listen to the album in full here and nab yourself a copy on CD or vinyl, should you so desire.

SUNN O))) In case you wanted a reminder of the Seattle roots of drone metal’s finest, head on over to the Sunn O))) web store, where you can pre-order one of their new flannel shirts. There’s plenty more there to tickle your pickle while you’re at it.

TODAY IS THE DAY is offering bundles of two newly reissued vinyl copies of Supernova and S/T, with two groovy Today Is The Day t-shirts. Available from the Supernova Records webstore.

KEN Mode In honour of the excellent, twin albums NULL and VOID, KEN Mode has exclusive, new merch at the KEN Mode webstore. Check out the super cool designs for the hoodies and long-sleeves. While you’re there, the band has just opened pre-orders for a very limited colour vinyl pressing of the excellent, preceding album Loved. Check it out on the link above.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder.

While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
