Hello there,

Another Saturday, another #ShortOnes. Yes, it is true. Here I’m again to write some lines about a few releases. Hope you enjoy it…

Check my recos…

Band: Contaminated
Title: Celebratory Beheading
Label: Blood Harvest
Release date: 09 February 2024
Country: Australia
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

When I heard this for the first time I was in need to listen to something fast, heavy, strong, devastating… Well… This album is that. The band is moving inside the Death Metal music style but at the same time with influences of Grind and with Doom Metal too. This band reminds me a mix of Undergang, with Napalm Death (Old) and Coffins. The mix is very well done in my opinion. This album is that kind of albums that I will listen to many times. Check them.

Band: Drunemeton
Title: Tir nan Og
Label: Heidens Hart Records
Release date: 02 February 2024
Country: Russia
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

The last time I checked this band was in 2017 when the album Disciples of the Old Faith was released, so when I saw the promo of this album, I grabbed it immediately. The band doesn’t bring anything new to be honest, but the Pagan Black Metal played by this band, well, in fact, a one-man band, is good, at least in my opinion. It is catchy, it sounds very well and I like it. So I decided to give you this reco. Check it.

Band: Toxikull
Title: Under the Southern Light
Label: Dying Victims Productions
Release date: 23 February 2024
Country: Portugal
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

I already saw one or two times this band. The second time I think I only saw one song, I arrived late from a dinner with friends. The band is not bad at playing live, they give a good show. For the ones that don’t know the band, they move in the Heavy Metal style. If you like Judas Priest, Halford, Agent Steel, Hellstar, and Manowar, this band is for you. Listening to this band, was like returning to the 90s and 00s. Was a good journey with a lot of good riffs, solos, a good voice, and a very strong album. Congratulations.

See you next week and…

Don’t forget to support the bands and labels.
