THRA One short and sweet from Thra! Tickets are up now for next Friday, December 8th! Keep an eye on the tickets and the location!

XIBALBA Hispanic Californian hardcore death metal three-piece Xibalba are back with their follow up to 2020’s Años en Infierno. Aztlán (out now on Closed Casket Activities) is another slab of weighty riffs to pummel you into the ground. You can listen to the album in full here where the album is available on a range of different, limited vinyl editions.  ORO Sweden’s Oro have just put out their latest sludge metal offering on Dutch label Hammerheart Records. Vid Vägs Ände (the follow up to 2019’s Djupets kall) is available to stream here. You’ll also find a link if you want to purchase a physical copy.

There’s a flavour of Voivod about Dissimulator and their forthcoming debut Lower Form Resistance. The Canadian three-piece have teamed up with 20 Buck Spin with the album available on the 26th of January. In the meantime, you can enjoy the razor sharp, speedy riffing of preview track “Hyperline Underflow” here. There are a range of limited edition vinyl copies you can pre-order from the same link.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder.

While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
