VREDEHAMMER – THE JOKER

Vredehammer’s combination of aggressive guitars and masterful songwriting has rewarded the band with a loyal fanbase around the world.
When it comes to extreme metal from Norway, Vredehammer is one of the best!

Now in 2023, Vredehammer, the mighty force from the deepest North finally returns with music that truly showcase the band’s technical prowess, through ferocious drumming, intricate guitar work, and haunting vocals. With one of Scandinavias best BM drummers, Nils “Dominator” Fjellström on drums, combined with the unparalleled music songwriting and guitar skills of Per Valla this is truly a track that will blast you through the winter.

The track titled The Joker is the first new music to be released by Vredehammer since the release of the album Viperous in 2020.  

Per Valla comment:

“The Joker is Vredehammer’s ode to the 90’s swedish death metal scene. Heavy guitars riffs, groovy drum parts and ofcourse skank beats!”

It all started out as a one-man project in 2009, since then Per Valla’s Vredehammer has released three highly acclaimed full-length albums and been nominated for the Norwegian Grammy.

Since the release of the very first album, Vredehammer have toured Europe as direct support for bands such as the mighty Satyricon and Six Feet Under, as well as touring with Keep of Kalessin and Vreid, and doing Vredehammer´s own European headlining tour.
