#BAZUndergroundUpdates CLXXXIX

3 min read

So here we are, once again, another Tuesday! This is the very last Tuesday and the last
week of November, and we hope you are all excited about Christmas coming! But until then…

So, let’s see what’s out there…

KILL THE THRILL Frace´s most enigmatic post-punk & industrial band Kill The Thrill is back with a brand new album titled Autophagie, which is rumoured to immerse the listener into a realm of abrasive and hypnotic artistry! The title track now has its very own video which you can head over here to give a listen to and watch, and of course, head over here to place your pre-order for the album, scheduled for a release on January 26th, 2024!

NECROWRETCH This one combines the best of black metal and death metal into music made straight from the depths of hell! Now Necrowretch is back and ready to open a new chapter of fiery blast beats and twisted guitar riffs, and so they have announced the release of their 5th full-length album titled Swords of Dajjal! A new single from the album is available right now titled Numidian Knowledge and you can head over here to give it a go! Of course, if you like what you hear, you should head over here and place your pre-order for the album!

NEUROT RECORDINGS Our weekly favourite is here! Neurot Recordings has picked a new album for this week´s Pay What You Can segment, and this week it’s The Order of Things by Tarentel! Head over here to claim your very own copy right now, and simply pay what you can!

AEON WINDS Well this hits like a wind tunnel full of bricks from the first second. Night Sky Illuminations by Aeon Winds is out now on Avantgarde Music and is a grand and mighty blast of powerful black metal. With a suitably gigantic production, you can crank it up and quite possibly believe that the spirits are gathering at your window, ready to pull you out by your feet. Listen here, where you can buy the album on vinyl or CD.

HELGA Featuring a blend of everything from Swedish folk, post-rock, black metal and pop, Wrapped in Mist by Helga is an intriguing proposition. Out now on Season of Mist there’s clearly already quite a bit of interest around this release given how fast copies are selling. Smooth and heavy and gorgeous and well worth checking out. You can listen and order here.

INFERNAL ANGELS Perhaps a little Italian black metal would be what you’re after? If so, Shrine of Black Fire by Infernal Angels could be just the ticket for you. Out now on Immortal Frost Productions, you can listen to the album here where there are CDs and vinyl available (maybe not for long though).

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder.

While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.

Again, with Christmas just around the corner we hope you continue to get your hands on all of the gifts you intend to give others (and yourself) through the fabulous offers that continue to be offered to us!
