Hello there,

And here I’m again to give you some recos and if you want to trade some words with me on my social media… If not, well, at least enjoy the music…

So, check my recos…

Band: Ars Moriendi
Title: Lorsque les coeurs s’assechent
Label: Archaic Sound
Release date: 04 August 2023
Country: France
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

You know those bands that you see publicity about them, some people share it, you see some records on the local stores and you want to listen to and you never did till that day you question yourself, “why I took so much time to listen to this band?”. Well, Ars Moriendi is one of those bands… The style the band plays is not my preferred one in the Black Metal many sub-styles even if I love some bands… They move inside the progressive with some atmospheric parts. It is very well done but is not a release that will grab you on the first 1 or 2 times listening. I take a bit to absorb the album, maybe the long songs don’t help to much, but after a few listenings, it is an album that should be listen to…

Band: Invultation
Title: Feral Legion
Label: Sentient Ruin Laboratories
Release date: 18 August 2023
Country: England
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

Are you into Archgoat, Angelcorpse, or Abysmal Lord? Well, if you are, then this album is for you and you will not regret it. it’s fast, it’s chaotic, it’s fast but also can be slow and heavy as… A very good album for the lovers of the above bands mentioned by me. This album played a lot during this week and I never got tired of it. So what are you waiting for to check this band?

Band: Orphalis
Title: As the Ashes Settle
Label: Transcending Obscurity Records
Release date: 25 August 2023
Country: Germany
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

In the past, I knew a lot of bands inside the Technical Brutal Death Metal or Brutal Death Metal and to be honest, even in that time I couldn’t find differences between Technical Brutal Death Metal or Brutal Death Metal. I’m a musician btw and in both styles, they play 1001 notes per minute and always Blast Beats and a lot of technical touches, on the drum, guitar, bass, etc… So why just don’t call Brutal Death Metal? Anyway… Moving forward… Returning on baby steps to listen to again this music styles, have been founding a lot of good bands, but also some… Like in all styles… Orphalis is one of those bands that in my opinion you should check.

Don’t forget to support the bands and labels.
