#ShortOnes CIX #UndergroundRecos

Hello there,

This month is giving to me amazing releases to listen to. Not complaining about previous months, not at all, but IMO this month is doing it in more high quantity and quality too. At least this is my opinion. So let me start…

So, check my recos…

Band: Phantom Corporation
Title: Fallout
Label: Supreme Chaos Records
Release date: 23 June 2023
Country: Germany
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

To start I’m not a big fan of Hardcore. I will explain… The band is moving inside the Death Metal world with a lot of Crust feeling and vibes. The mix is very good and captive. I really like it. The Death Metal riffs mixed with the Crust ones are very well done and very catchy too. The voice is a mix of, John Tardy (it did remind me), Dean Jones, and some Harcore kind of voice and it’s here that I don’t like so much. At least in the first hearings and to be honest, still can’t absorb it. Even so, I think you must listen to this band cause it has a lot of quality.

Band: Leathürbitch
Title: Shattered Vanity
Label: Shadow Kingdom Records
Release date: 22 June 2023
Country: USA
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

I’m not a Heavy Metal fan, not at all, but I can say when an album is good and the band is good. I decided to listen to this band for curiosity and the time spent listening to, it was worth it. The band does not play only Heavy Metal, they mix some Speed Metal into it and it makes it even better. The clichés are there? Of course, they are, and if you start to count them all over the album you will lose the track, but the album is damn good. A lot of amazing well done riffs, the bass lines are very good, and the drums are fitting like a glove on the songs. It is an album that you need to listen to. Go…

Band: Sammath
Title: Grebbeberg
Label: Hammerheart Records
Release date: 16 June 2023
Country: Netherlands
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

The Black Metal made in Netherlands, unfortunately, never had the real and deserved recognition in the underground or mainstream in my opinion. This band for example. They started in middle of the 90s and many people don’t know them and the quality of the Black Metal played by them. This album is not an exception and once more a very good damn album is released. It’s time for you to listen to and say support this band. Check it. IS WELL WORTH IT.

Don’t forget to support the bands and labels.
