Trust anonymous Parisian noise-terrorists Non Serviam to call a 54 minute release a mini-album! But so it is with our favourite French anarchists here at Blessed Altar Zine and their forthcoming release.

It is our pleasure to announce here that Death Ataraxia will be released on June 2nd via Trepanation Recordings.

Having most recently wowed us with their shamanistic noise-drone side project Hiverlucide on Satan Death Whale earlier this month, the irrepressible duo of Void & Moon are already moving on.

On first single “Mortrien” there’s a notable shift into more guitar-based metal riffing. We’ve been given the honour of premiering the track and video here for you.

Don’t doubt that there are plenty of twists and turns to be discovered on the full release, with Death Ataraxia highlighting the diversity and genre-attacking tendencies of the duo. Never believe for a second that you can second-guess Non Serviam!

Death Ataraxia also features special-guest contributions from Colin Marston (Krallice, Gorguts, Behold The Arctopus), who supplies additional wart guitar solo & ARP 2600 synthesizer on “World Eater”, and Dilek Sarmis, who provides vocals on “Astres”.
