#BAZUndergroundUpdates CXXXIV

Once again it’s hard to wrap your brain around how fast time appears to be going. Today marks the first of November, with the spooky season officially behind us, however the weekly Underground Updates instalment will never be behind us and our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Osman are back at it again!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

XENTRIX Out now is a new official lyric video from Xentrix to the track Reckless with a Smile via Listenable Records! Head over here to check it out!

XENTRIX Also having an upcoming tour this November and December, Xentrix is heading out alongside Vio-lence, Whiplash and Artillery! Make sure you find all the information needed for these shows, and if you happen to be in Europe we are sure you can find one near you!

FRAIL BODY / KEN MODE On tour now are Frail Body and Ken Mode teaming up to bring us a plethora of shows together until November 12th! Head over here for information on dates and tickets!

CHAOS RECORDS Just a reminder of the special sale going on this week over at Chaos Records, and they are currently offering 3×2 in all of their CD releases as well as 15% off distro titles! Head over here to do your shopping and remember: the sale ends this coming Friday the 4th!

SATURNUS Denmark’s Doom Metal veterans Saturnus have just had their 2006 album Veronika Decides To Die reissued on two limited vinyl editions by Prophecy Productions. You can pick up a copy here alongside a double CD edition, where you can also listen to the album in full. Check out too the band’s forthcoming live dates around Europe in November.

WORM Following up their 2021 album Foreverglade, Florida’s Worm have just put out a new EP of mysterious and atmospheric Doom infused Black Metal on 20BuckSpin. You’ll feel like you’re in a magical forest after about 20 seconds and then you’ll probably get eaten by a troll, or something. Very cool stuff. Check out Bluenothing here where you can listen in full and pick up a copy on a range of different editions, including coloured vinyl.

VENGEUR Once again Italy’s I, Voidhanger Records have a forthcoming release that stretches out into the realms of the avant-garde, this time with Par Feu et Par Flammes the debut record by Polish solo project Vengeur. Fitting into a micro-genre of electronic music called witch house, this is some dark synth-driven music that — judging by the preview track — will be something unusual and well-worth listening to in full when it’s released on the 25th of November. In the meantime, check out the preview track here and pre-order a copy.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder.

While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
