Hello there,

Another week passed since the last Saturday. Dah, of course, no need to be very smart to notice that. Ahahahahahahahahah. Anyway, here I’m again with some recos for you.

Check my recos…

Band: Cimmerian Possession
Title: Sadistic Storm
Label: Personal Records
Release date: 14 October 2022
Country: Mexico
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

The first release from this band and uh la la. Well done. Basically, the band is moving inside the old Fashion Death Metal but they can’t deny the Crust influences in their music. The drums, some riffs and sometimes on vocals. This EP, (yes, unfortunately only that), managed to grab my ears, head, foot, etc, since the riff till the last one. Many times times this EP played. Check them.

Band: De Profundis
Title: The Corruption of Virtue
Label: Transcending Obscurity Records
Release date: 07 October 2022
Country: UK (England)
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

In my opinion, this band was looking for the “real” sound of them. I mean, they started like a Death Doom Metal, than started to be a bit of progressive Death Metal band with some Black Metal touches and finally… This masterpiece of Death Metal. The progressive part was not lost and in my opinion is even more accurate. If you know the band since the beginning and when you listen to this album, hope you can say like me. “yeah, this album is so damn good”. Thank you De Profundis for the quality since the beginning till now. Check them.

Band: Embrace Of Thorns
Title: Entropy Dynamics
Label: Nuclear Winter Records
Release date: 10 October 2022
Country: Greece
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

I have been following the band almost since the beginning, I have several releases of them but still several are missing, especially the demos. Anyway… If you know the band you will notice the evolution of the band, I mean, doing more strong songs, and stronger releases, of course the production it helps a lot if you compare it to the old releases, but that is the same for the majority of the bands. The Black Death Metal of the band, stays the same, nothing new, but better. If you don’t know them, check it, and try to listen to the old releases. Well worth it.

Band: Forlesen
Title: Black Terrain
Label: I, Voidhanger Records
Release date: 28 October 2022
Country: USA
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

Hmmm… Do you love metal in general? I mean, listen to, different styles? And what do you think when a band manages to mix several styles in the same place? I know… No easy and sometimes a big mix salad with no flavor and/or seasoning. Not this case. Trust me. This EP is a journey to many styles. You can listen to some Heavy Doom, Black Metal, Dark Ambient, Funeral Doom, slowcore (subgenre of alternative rock and indie rock), some Death Metal touches here and there, and some classical touches too. The songs are huge but never touching the boring and the journey into the sound, music, metal is amazing. Check them

Don’t forget to support the bands and labels.
