#BAZUndergroundUpdates CXX

Yes yes, it’s Tuesday, you know the drill!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

TRANSLATION LOSS RECORDS Due to the amazing response to their 20% summer inventory sale, Translation Loss Records has decided to extend the sale to July 31st! The 20% discount is on almost everything at their store, apart from preorders and a few select new titles, so head over here to check out the selection and keep in mind that there is no code needed; the discount is automatic!

NEUROT RECORDINGS One of our weekly favourites is of course the Pay What you Can album pick each week over at Neurot Recordings, and this week it’s the album Nova Lux by MGR! Head over here to secure your copy, and simply pay what you can!

VIA NOCTURNA Now until the end of July, Via Nocturna is having a summer sale which offers a 25% discount on all items in stock, apart from the already discounted items! Head over here to check it out and use the code NOX25!

SELF MUTILATION SERVICES Another fabulous summer campaign is going on over at Self Mutilation Services which offers 15% off on everything with the discount code summer15! Head over here and have quick hands, as the campaign ends on July 31st!

DEVOUROR Coming up soon is Devouror´s debut full length album Diabologs Brigade and while we wait for it, there is an official video to the track Oath of Devil´s Cross out now which you can watch over here! Remember, if you like what you hear you must watch out for the album release, scheduled on the 30th of September this year via Listenable Records!

MALIGNANT ALTER Originally released back in December 2021, Realms of Exquisite Morbidity by Texans Malignant Alter is the kind of death metal that sounds like it’s being pumped out of a blast furnace. Fans of Morbid Angel at their most crushing may find their ears pricking up at this one. Now Dark Descent Records have released limited vinyl pressings of the album. You can pick up one here, where you can listen to the album in full.

TEETHGRINDER More death metal — this time with grindcore and crust tendencies — comes in the form of Dystopia, the new album by Dutch group Teethgrinder. And if teeth grinding as this record, you’d have no teeth left after one night. Check the album out here, where you can listen in full and by from a range of options, including limited coloured vinyl.

GUTVOID Following up their 2020 debut EP Astral Bestiary Toronto, Canada’s Gutvoid will soon release their debut album Durance of Lightless Horizons on Blood Harvest. From the preview track, this promises to be a gigantic slab of death metal monstrousness, with plenty of atmosphere. You can listen to the preview track here and pre-order the album due for release on the 23rd of September.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative. So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
