And we are back at it once again!
So, let’s see what’s out there…
NIGHTFALL The Greek melodic metal masters of Nightfall have now premiered the official live video to the track Witches! The track was recorded during the group´s live show in Athens in November last year, and is taken from the group´s latest opus At Night We Prey. The stream is available on the official Nightfall YouTube channel which you can check out over here, and the link may be freely spread throughout all of your channels! Head over here to stream, download and purchase At Night We Prey right now!
KATHAROS XIII If you happen to be in a mood for dark jazz doom black metal you might be interested in knowing that Katharos XIII is back at it again with the single Neurastenia, taken from the group´s upcoming album and is available now over here!
UNDEATH Being easily one of Undeath´s craziest and hardest tracks ever recorded, the group presents to us now their latest track Head splattered in Seven Ways, taken off It’s Time…to Rise from the Grave! Make sure you head over here to check it out before it gets yanked off of YouTube…and be warned!
CENTURY If you happen to be in Stockholm, Sweden, you might want to check out Century´s very first show there. This is also the band´s release show for their upcoming work The Fighting Eagle, scheduled for a release on March 25th!
ABBATH A brand new co-headlining tour has been announced by the Norwegian Abbath, alongside the Swedish black metal outfit Watain! Starting in Paris, the groups will wreak havoc upon 13 more countries before the curtains finally fall at the Vanha venue in Helsinki Finland. During every show the special guests Tribulation and Bölzer will make appearances and make sure to have quick hands because tickets are already on sale! Also check out this page to listen to Abbath´s recently released title track of their upcoming album Dread Reaver as well as over here to pre order the album!
NON SERVIAM Always up to something interesting, a YouTube channel was created in order to broadcast good music without any limitations of style. The channel Cult Albums You´ve Never Heard of has rumours going that Non Serviam might somehow be involved in the musical choices so an order is in place to check it out over here and of course remember to subscribe. Should you like what you hear you can also give it a follow on Instagram over here. Now, that’s not all. We at BAZ couldn’t help but notice that Non Serviam´s Twitter account was deleted, but just like haemorrhoids they are back at it once again so make sure you head over here to their new Twitter account and give it a follow!
BLACK LION RECORDS While most of us are still waiting to get out of this rut and onto the next big show, it is still good to know about the other things that are still available and help us get through these months. Black Lion Records is therefore still having their extended February sale which offers 55% discount off physical orders, pre orders as well as new stuff! Head over here to browse the fabulous selection the label carries, and remember to use the code blacklionrec55. Don’t forget the name your price on digitals as well!
NOIRCURE Just out on Italy’s Avantgarde Music, Kyrie is the debut full-length by solo-multi-instrumentalist Blackgaze project Noircure. You can buy the album on CD and digital and listen in full here.
KLUIZENAER Powerful, bleak, dark, atmospheric, all suitable adjectives to describe Ein Abbild der Leere, the new full-length by Germany’s Kluizenaer. The album is out now on Wolves of Hades. You can pay what you want for a digital copy here. Though vinyl is sold out on bandcamp, you can still get hold of a copy direct from the label’s store here.
PIKE VS THE AUTOMATON Featuring Matt Pike of High on Fire and Sleep fame on guitars and vocals, Pike vs The Automaton have just released their self-titled debut long player on MNRK Heavy. Strap yourself in for a fat slab of sludgy riffs galore. The album is out on several limited, colour vinyl editions you can pick up here where you can also listen to the album in full.
SCORN March 25th will see the release of what looks to be a delightful burst of pulverising Thrash Metal in the form of Winds of Torment by Scorn. France’s Great Dane Records will be releasing the album on CD with an 8-page booklet. You can pre-order here and listen to three preview tracks.
Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative. So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
