BAZ Friday LXXXVII – Underground Reco For Underground Maniacs

2 min read

And… It’s Friday… LOL.
This week passed really fast, at least for me.
I heard plenty of new releases. That was very good. Very different styles and that is even better. Hope you enjoy it.

Band: Revenant Marquis
Title: Below the Landsker Line
Label: Inferna Profundus Records
Release date: 21 March 2021
Country: Wales
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

The fifth album from this band. What we can expect here? well. That is quite easy to say. This one-man-band plays raw lo-fi Black Meta, and a very good one, but to be honest, I only advise lovers of this type of Black Metal and with the sound quality mentioned above.

Band: All My Faith Lost
Title: Untitled
Label: Cyclic Law
Release date: 09 March 2021
Country: Italy
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

This Italian band is a very pleasant journey to acoustic music. The construction of the songs, the mix of the instruments and the voice… Well. I just have to say… Thank you a lot for the amazing album. I really loved it.

Band: Terrorential
Title: Visions
Label: Independent
Release date: 15 March 2021
Country: Australia
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

The first album from this Aussie band and… So damn good. It is a very good mix of Thrash with Death Metal. Mainly Thrash Metal in my opinion. I played this album many times while doing my things. Very good.

Band: Stormtide
Title: A Throne of Hollow Fire
Label: Metal Hell Records
Release date: 01 February 2021
Country: Australia
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

I have to admit one thing. I’m not a big fan of the music style that the band plays and to even more honest to all, I don’t know too much about the music style of Symphonic Folk/Death Metal but this band managed to grab my attention. A very good surprise.

Band: Starscape
Title: Colony
Label: Stormspell Records
Release date: 01 March 2021
Country: Sweden
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

Totally unknown to me, I decided to listen and research a bit about this band while listening to the future and first album. Old fashion Heavy Metal. Yep, and a very good one. The lyrical theme is inside the Science Fiction (love it). And not even the accent of the vocalist moved me away and I had an enjoyable time while listening to this album. Very good. Thanks a lot for it. (The music below is the single of the album)

Don’t forget to support the bands and labels.
