The eyes also eat. Yes, it’s true, and when I looked to the cover I thought that I would listen to some Technical Death Metal. I was right and also wrong. Yap. On the beginning of this album some amazing and Technical riffs started and the voice that fits so well in a technical Death Metal band. But after a a few the other part, the melodic part starts to appear. Wow. What a very nice surprise. Really good. This band managed to surprise me with the very good quality. The band does a mix of Technical Death Metal with the melodic Death Metal style and with a lot of progressive too. Very good. Check them.

First contact/listen with this band from Canada. And… I was not respecting this, to be honest. Well, I mean the mix they do. Uh la la. The mix, of some Doom with Sludge, some post-metal that can go fast and sometimes a bit of Southern Rock. Well, almost all those styles mentioned are +/- related but the mix of them. If well worth the listen to. The voice is mainly clear, sometimes a bit stronger but like I said mainly clear. In my opinion the most related part to the traditional Doom in this album. I loved this album. Very good indeed. Check them. Note: This album will be released early October 2020 by the label Petrichor (sublabel of Hammerheart Records).

Sometimes we are looking for something different without looking for any info about the band. Just discovering. So while I was looking for my folder of promos. The name of the band caught my attention. Decided to open the folder. Looked to the cover. Funeral Doom? Hmmm. Maybe, I thought… Wrong. LOL. This is a very good release of Heavy Doom Metal. Yap. True story. I also listen to this. Even if is not my cup of tea, I have to admit. This album managed to grab me from the first second till the end of the album. Very good. Check them.

I don’t remember why I started to listen to this album but I’m glad (very) that I did. This Canadian band is on active since 2013 and this is the third album released by them. This band delivers to me, and to you too, if you listen to them, a Black Death Metal with many keys. The Black Metal voice reminds me of a bit of Dani Filth on CoF‘s first albums. The mix of styles is well done, good and well structered songs. Congratulations. I liked what I heard even if this music style (the keys) is not my cup of tea or not my beach like we say in my country. Check them.
