BAZ Friday XL – Underground Reco For Underground Maniacs
Hello again. This time doing the edition number XL
Yes, that is true. My trip this time started in Ukraine, then Switzerland, travel to the other side of the Atlantic Ocean and landed in Canada and traveled back to Europe ending my journey in Greece. It was a very good trip, to be honest… So check my recos and enjoy them.

This newborn band from Ukraine with members of Ygg, Ulvegr, Raventale, Deferum Sacrum, KZOHH, Khors, and Balfor is devastating. The album is divided into 10 hymns of Black Metal with a bit of Black Death Metal ala Blasphemy. Especially the drum. The sound mix is very balanced and produced too. Not normal in this kind of music style. A very good surprise. Check them.

With Zorgh (All Instruments) from the band Darkspace and Djinn (Vocals), this band releases the first album… But… Nothing related to at the same time with Darkspace if you thought that. Still Black Metal? Yes, but in a very different approach. Not an album that catches me on the first listening even with several good details, but after a few times playing… I advise it. Very good.

Well… To be honest I was so tired of this music style (blame the tons of bands that appeared about 10 years +/-) that when I got the promo, I thought that should be one more band… But, I gave them a chance. And thankfully I gave it. They play Speed Metal with some Thrash Metal touches with a Punk attitude. Luckily is not the typical Speed Metal with the hysterical screams like in the past. Sorry. This band is different and you should give them a chance too.

First time I heard this band was back in 2011 when They release a 7″ with them, country comrades, Ezgaroth, I also got a few releases “Blood Breathing Idols” (Album from 2012) “Transcendence” (Split from 2013) and managed to get to the “As Solemn Maelstrom…” (album from 2019) after that I lost the contact, and they played a good Black Metal in my opinion. So when I got this promo, I was a bit excited to listen. It’s like a new band here, They play a mix of Black Metal, Thrash Metal touches and Heavy Metal too (this one is very well done, especially the solos, and I’m not a big fan of Heavy Metal), very good, to be honest. This album has plenty of musical quality. Check them. Well worth it.
